Samuel Oldknow Esq.

A print from an engraving by S. W. Roberts (Engraver to His Majesty) based on a painting by J. Allen. It was published in 1830, two years after Oldknow's death but presumably painted some years earlier as he looks much younger than 72. From Marple Local History Society Archives.
