Hawk Green Festival 2015

Hawk Green Residents Association Mayday Festival 2015 was held on "The Green" on Sunday 10th May. The festival included the crowning of the May Queen and King, entertainment from Hawk Green Brass Band, Go-Karting, Donkey Rides, Bubble Man, Put & Ping, Wood Turning, Face Painting and Children's Games. Well done HGRA!

Marple Carnival 2015

The theme for Marple's 53rd Carnival was SUPERHEROES and it was up, up and away for participants on Saturday June 20 June despite the decidedly non-super weather. As always, if you took any good shots on the day, please send them in to be added to this album.

Marple 150 / Locks Festival 2015

To celebrate the 150th birthday of Marple Station in 2015 a series of events were organised culminating with the biannual Marple Locks Festival in Memorial Park and up and down the locks on Sunday 5th July.

Mellor Country Fete 2015

Mellor Country Fete is a traditional Country Fete with activities for all the family in a fabulous hillside setting with spectacular views and a friendly, old-fashioned village atmosphere. Here are a few photographs from the day - if you have more, pleased send them in.

Mellor Mill Fact & Fun Day 2015

A Fact and Fun Day at Mellor Mill and Roman Lakes, with guided tours of the Mill, two bands, food and drink and lots of things for the children to do. A great day raising funds for Mellor Archaeological Trust and Friends of Our Valley too.

Marple Festival 2015

2015's Marple Festival was organised for the first time by Marple Business Forum and focused on the Food and Drink Day on Saturday 19 September. There were buskers on every corner and lots of food, drink and charity stalls. There was also be a beer festival and fun day at Marple Cricket Club over the weekend of 18-20 September.
