Lime Kilns Halloween 2021

On Friday 29 October Friends of Oldknow's Lime Kilns (FOLK) organised a scary Halloween event down at Marple Lime Kilns. As far as we know everyone survived the Hell Fire Chilli and Maggots served up!

Marple's Queen's Platinum Jubilee Party held on Friday 3rd June 2022 on Market Street and Derby Way was organised by a group of local volunteers.

Marple Carnival 2022

The theme for Marple's 58th Carnival in its 60th year was "Playtime". It was great to have the carnival back after two years out due to the pandemic and the crowds certainly turned out to celebrate. As always, if you took any good shots on the day, please send them in to be added to this album.

Mellor Mill Fact and Fun Day 2022

A Fact and Fun Day at Mellor Mill and Roman Lakes, with guided tours of the Mill, music, food and drink and lots of things for the children to do. A great day raising funds for Mellor Archaeological Trust and Friends of Our Valley too.

The weather was kind to Marple Food and Drink Festival on Saturday 17th September 2022. The event was organised by Councillor Malcolm Allan and former councillor Craig Wright with Kala Walsh of Make It Marple. Well done folks, a great day!
